Individual Psychotherapy or Counselling

Psychotherapy and counselling involves a confidential relationship between the therapist and client. The overall aim is for you to be able to explore your difficulties in a neutral setting with a view to understanding and managing your problems more effectively.

The type of therapy we offer involves helping you make links between your past experiences, your family of origin and you and your present difficulties

These include concerns such as:

• family difficulties e.g.: parenting, caring, cultural concerns

• feelings of emptiness
• problems with coping in your family or at work
• self-destructive patterns
• lack of confidence and shyness

• problems with food, alcohol or drugs
